Dana White Breaks Silence on Jon Jones Allegedly Threatening to Kill Female Drug Tester: “That Things Gonna Play Out Legally”

The heavyweight division of the UFC was in a dilemma after Jon Jones’s injury and seems like problems are just increasing for the promotion as well as the heavyweight champion. Jones has been away from the Octagon since his pectoral injury but seems like problems are just knocking on ‘Bones’ doors day and night.
UFC heavyweight champion, Jon Jones was accused of harshly misbehaving with the drug officials who came to his house for drug testing. According to the sources, Jones not only assaulted but threatened the DSFI officials on March 30, and based on such allegations, Jones was arrested by the New Mexico police last Saturday. The UFC CEO, Dana White kept his silence since then but seems like he had to come forward to give his two cents.

According to the victim, Crystal Martinez, she and her colleague Jerome arrived at his residence at 4 pm and the Hall of Famer cooperated for the most part but did not do the urine test according to reports. She further quoted that Jon Jones misbehaved with them but the CCTV footage of the UFC fighter’s house says otherwise
Regardless, Jones has denied the allegation but is still cooperating with the proceedings. Through the help of his social media, Jones uploaded several CCTV footage where it can be seen him cooperating with the DFSI officials and giving high five to them. Nonetheless, Dana White has taken cognizance of the situation.

In his latest outing to the media, White asserted that everything would play out legally “That thing gonna play out legally” and pushed that the CCTV footage showcased Jones’s stance. He further went to take a jibe at NBC News for breaking the news first about Jon Jones’s arrest.

The arrest was unfortunate, however, the heavyweight champion had to undergo certain proceedings for his alibi to be withdrawn. In another statement, Jones gave his proper clarification.
What did Jones have to say about his arrest?
According to Jones, he was surprised when he witnessed news about his arrest. He emphasizes that upon waking up from his sleep he saw the news and was equally confused. He also mentioned that he was with his daughters in Texas for a volleyball tournament.

Through his X handle, Jones added a post about his new, “Must admit, it’s disappointing to have to clarify these things again, but I understand that I may be an easy target given some of my past issues. It’s important to set the record straight and make sure the truth is told.”
