International Fight Week is just a month away. And the world of mixed martial arts still doesn’t know the names that will headline the event. Will it be Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall unifying the heavyweight belts at UFC 317? Or will it be someone else? What we do know is that Ilia Topuria vs Islam Makhachev might not happen. Why? Because after Belal Muhammad’s loss at UFC 315, Makhachev would certainly make a move to the welterweight division. On top of that, Alex Pereira has apparently refused to fight Magomed Ankalaev in a rematch at IFW. And as confusion ate through the fighting realm, Dana White decided to point at ‘Lookin’ For A Fight’ show, instead of announcing the fights for UFC 317. Needless to say, fans weren’t too happy about it.
During the last episode of Dana White: Lookin’ For A Fight, Din Thomas and Matt Serra returned to Tampa to witness the action at The Korean Zombie’s Z Fight Night. But before that, the duo went in for some goat yoga. Yes, that’s exactly what it sounds like. And the UFC head honcho shared that part on Instagram. Therein, we can see Thomas saying, “She like opened the flood gates to the goats. It was biblical!”
There were initially 2 goats, but when the instructor began the hilarious work, many more flooded in and began messing around with Serra and Thomas. One goat even climbed up on Serra’s back. No doubt, it wasn’t anything pleasant for the former fighters. Serra weighed in on goat yoga and said, “I don’t know how this is a thing. First of all, I thought yoga is supposed to be relaxing. It was a nightmare. I was getting attacked, I was getting clawed…”

And White made sure that he promoted the show. In the caption, he wrote, “Lookin for a Fight is AVAILABLE NOW on YouTube! Stream it in the link in bio.” Of course, that wasn’t something that the fight fans wanted. All that they cared about was the news of International Fight Week. And the announcements for UFC 318 and UFC Fight Night: Robert Whittaker vs. Reinier de Ridder didn’t help at all.

Soon after White dropped the post on Instagram, the fighting world took to the comments section to reveal their thoughts. Without a doubt, the comments section was flooded with one thought. And it was all about IFW.

Fight fans launch a revolt against Dana White’s efforts to make his followers laugh
Scheduled to go down on June 28, 2025, at the T-Mobile Arena, UFC 317 has absolutely nothing else revealed. It’s like the UFC CEO is desperately trying to maintain the suspense around the event. However, the fighting community doesn’t seem to like it. After all, White does have a habit of announcing fights much before a month left to the events. One fan commented, “Doing anything but announce ufc 317.” Another fan claimed that the world only cared about IFW now. The comment read, “Noone cares unc you better announce that 317 🔥.” One more fan added, “Unless it’s about UFC 317 we don’t care.”
What’s your perspective on:
Is Dana White losing his touch, or is he just keeping us on our toes for UFC 317?
Have an interesting take?
A while ago, White made a few announcements regarding his new bull, Playmate. Well, he’s the replacement for Twisted Steel, and is set to garner quite a bit of attention at PBR. But fight fans wanted nothing about it. One of them quoted, “Nobody cares about your goats and cows announce the fight right now😠.” Dismissing the visuals from Lookin’ For A Fight, one fan wrote, “wtf cartoon is this show us 317 world is tired of you guys.”

With the uncertainty rising, the fans even began to doubt if the UFC 317 would be announced at all. But will it happen this week? One fan wondered, “Are we getting the UFC 317 main event announcement this week?” Meanwhile, another fan decided to put some seriousness in his tone. The comment read, “dana bud we a month away from 317 and u still have no news announced.” Another fan suggested White to step down and let Hunter Campbell handle things. He wrote, “[Dana White] PLEASE STEP DOWN FROM BEING THE PRESIDENT OF UFC. Let Hunter Campbell handle business. We know you don’t care about this anymore.”
What is the delay in the UFC 317 announcement? Does it actually mean that the UFC doesn’t really have any fights scheduled for the event? Let us know what you think in the comments down below.
