After pulling out of UFC 303, McGregor underscored that he will be returning around September or August. This was a sign of hope for Chandler, as he has been inactive for more than a year now. However, there’s a catch to this as well. The UFC supremo has something to say to Chandler, and it’s not good news.

Dana White’s wise advice for Michael Chandler amid the Conor McGregor fiasco

When the media asked Michael Chandler about his opinion on coming back to the Octagon, he highlighted that he has been having conversations with the UFC regarding his comeback and this includes Conor McGregor: “It’s always related to Conor. Sources close to Conor like yourself I surely know he’s gonna be ready in September, or August. I’m sure we can make something happen.”

From the looks of it, it appears that Chandler is keen on waiting for McGregor, despite the uncertainty, however, Dana White seems to be against this decision as the UFC supremo has advised to not wait for him, “I will never recommend waiting. Time is not your friend in this business. You know Michael’s been around for a long time. He’s accomplished a lot of things. He’s at a point in his career where that’s what he wants to do. He’s not a dumb kid. He’s a smart kid. So whatever he wants to do,” said White.
