The mammoth event of UFC 281 is set to take place on November 13 at MSG, meanwhile like everyone, Dana White is extremely excited about the event. The UFC president has been promoting this event since the fights on this card were announced.

Dana White is pumped for UFC 281

Dana was quick to reply. “Yeah… the response on this fight has been incredible. There’s this thing that happens when you put on a fight and you know Pereira isn’t one of those guys, big names like everybody knows. Like you doing a Diaz vs Conor or Jon Jones vs this guy. But when the fight is legit people get excited about it.”

He further added, “the hardcore fans of the sport, the media of the sport, it just starts to create this buzz that spreads out to the people who are you know the casuals and that’s what’s happened with this fight.”

What other fights to look for in the card?

The co-main event of the evening sees Carla Esparza defend her belt against the former champ, Zhang Weili. The intriguing matchup is a classic wrestler vs striker matchup.
