Since the turn of this century, after many bans and scrutiny, the UFC found its way to Las Vegas, which has now become its home. Known as the ‘Fight Capital of the World’, Las Vegas not only hosts boxing matchups, but is also the city where Dana White’s promotion is headquartered. But it seems like that could change pretty soon because a Florida politician has an offer for the CEO.

Chase Tramont, serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 30th district, wants to cement the state’s reputation as a combat sports powerhouse. For a long time, it has been Nevada who’ve dominated the scene, but Tramont, in collaboration with Senator Joe Gruters, has publicly made his wish known to Dana White that they want to change things up.

Dana White gets an offer from Florida lawmakers to make the state the UFC’s home

In a post on X, Chase Tramont made it clear that he intends to shift the UFC’s headquarters from Nevada to Florida in the opening line of his statement. “Proud to partner w/ [Joe Gruters] to make Florida the Ultimate Fighting Championship Capitol of the World,” the Florida House of Representatives member wrote. Tramont then mentioned the new UFC license plates, for which they’ve filed companion bills.

These plates won’t be octagon-shaped, but they’re for a special cause because the proceeds of all the plates will go directly to the UFC Foundation for charitable causes. “[UFC] license plates will celebrate Florida’s fans and fighting spirit that never quits. Let’s advance the UFC Foundation mission one tag at a time,” Tramont further stated. He ended his message by asking Dana White to get on board with the idea by paying tribute to the ‘Veteran Voice of the Octagon’, Bruce Buffer. “[Dana White] It’s time.”

The UFC has been making some big moves. From the Paramount deal to the White House event next year, things are looking pretty good for Dana White and Co. While we wait to see what the CEO has in mind when it comes to moving the headquarters from Nevada to Florida, fans might be interested to know that the FBI chief, Kash Patel, also mentioned his wish to bring UFC to the FBI.

Sources have revealed the FBI chief’s UFC wish

The UFC fighters are some of the toughest athletes in the world, and Kash Patel seems to love it. But he’s not just concerned about how tough the fighters are, but about how fit they are. Earlier this year, a teleconference took place with the heads of the FBI’s 55 field offices. They revealed that Patel is looking to establish a relationship between the FBI and the MMA giants in a bid to improve the agents’ physical fitness.

“If they’re trying to up their physical fitness, the UFC is very specific in their fitness,” said Rich Frankel, who works as an ABC news contributor and was formerly the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Newark office. However, there’s no clear word on what Kash Patel really wants out of the FBI’s partnership with the UFC, and we also haven’t heard Dana White make any comments regarding it on a public platform.
