Dana White has never shown weakness in public. Without a doubt, he doesn’t intend on changing his stance with ‘Power Slap: Road to the Title’, as he announced the premiere of the second episode. The slapping league airs on TBS after being delayed for about a week. Although the UFC president’s new venture has been a risky road with tons of dislike from fans, there were many who actually appreciated the reality show and seemed to be impatient for the next episode. Surprisingly, one of the excited souls was the UFC’s Dan Hooker. As the fighter stumbled upon the Instagram post shared by White, he took to the comments section and showed his support for Power Slap. Furthermore, many of the fans seemingly found inspiration from the ‘Hangman’ and supported the UFC president and the slapping league.

The first episode of the slapping league premiered on 18 January 2023. The trailers worked magic. However, the episode didn’t perform as well as White would have expected. Nonetheless, as the show proceeds, the UFC boss can only hope for people to stick to it and grow to love it.

Fans can’t wait for the second episode of Power Slap as Dana White provides a trailer

Recently, the UFC president took to Instagram and announced the time for the premiere of Power Slap episode 2. He posted a video of the venture and tried to attract fans to watch the show. He wrote, “Episode 2 of @powerslap: Road to the Title airs WEDNESDAY on TBS at 10pmET/PT!” Without a doubt, it got some insane responses in the comment section.

Although many of the fans attacked White for the show, many others found it to be actually entertaining. Hooker was one among many who seemed to support the reality show. Hooker commented, “F**k I LLLLOOOVVVEEEE this show!” Furthermore, many others shared the same excitement as the lightweight contender.

How well did the first episode fare?

The previous episode of the slapping league did not do well enough as per the television standards. It found itself in the 45th spot on the charts. Additionally, the episode received a terrible rating of 0.10. To add to the worries, fans have claimed that the league was a dangerous one, where contestants could risk getting CTE.

However, White has stood in defense of the show with some valid counter-arguments. Nevertheless, the fate of the show seemingly depends on the upcoming episodes.
