UFC CEO Dana White has put the English fans on notice with a recent statement! In his latest interview with TNT Sports, the UFC boss stated, “I have an English heavyweight champion, and lots of other European stars. Two champs now out of England…We had these fights where it’s like, we’re going to do this where? No, we’re going to England. So we’re going to England… we’ve got some badass plans for England. (It will be a) numbered card, pay-per-view. A great one.”

White also revealed the process of creating fight cards as he broke down how the UFC utilizes different teams that come up with matchmaking ideas for the promotion. But White has the final say in the process as he stated, “I’m like, ‘no this doesn’t fit here, that’s gotta go.’ That’s how it all works”

Currently, Leon Edwards and Tom Aspinall are both champions who represent England in the UFC. And recently, there have also been rumors that suggested that the promotion is looking for a July date to schedule the card in the United Kingdom. But in White’s recent update, he stated that “Literally days [away from announcing the event]”, indicating that a concrete date may be coming soon.

However, the post has drawn a flurry of reactions from the fans who have made it clear that there are a few matchups that they want the UFC head honcho to deliver on the card. And the comments online indicate that the community is adamant about seeing Tom Aspinall at the event!

Fans speculated that the card will be held in July and will feature Leon Edwards taking on Belal Muhammad for the welterweight title. They launched a plea that detailed not wanting to see one particular heavyweight clash

Others were less than pleased about the possibility that Tom Aspinall may not get to unify his interim title against heavyweight legends like Jon Jones or Stipe Miocic

“So we just accepting that Jone and stipe gonna wait until the end of time to fight each other and then retire?”

The fans also claimed that Tom Aspinall vs Jon Jones would be the only fight that fulfills the “bada**” label for the event
