In his latest interview with TNT Sports, the UFC boss stated, “I have an English heavyweight champion, and lots of other European stars. Two champs now out of England…We had these fights where it’s like, we’re going to do this where? No, we’re going to England. So we’re going to England… we’ve got some badass plans for England. (It will be a) numbered card, pay-per-view. A great one.”

White also revealed the process of creating fight cards as he broke down how the UFC utilizes different teams that come up with matchmaking ideas for the promotion. But White has the final say in the process as he stated, “I’m like, ‘no this doesn’t fit here, that’s gotta go.’ That’s how it all works”

Currently, Leon Edwards and Tom Aspinall are both champions who represent England in the UFC. And recently, there have also been rumors that suggested that the promotion is looking for a July date to schedule the card in the United Kingdom. But in White’s recent update, he stated that “Literally days [away from announcing the event]”, indicating that a concrete date may be coming soon.
