The UFC boss and the host of the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) have been friends and partners since the early 2000s. In a recent interview with Lex Fridman, the UFC boss also indicated that “Joe Rogan has been very loyal to me, and I am very loyal to Joe Rogan.”

Dana White was a guest on former ESPN anchor, Sage Steele’s program, ‘The Sage Steele Show’ on YouTube. The discussion covered typical UFC topics but ended up leading to an unexpected moment as Steele’s final question took an awkward turn when she asked, “What’s Joe Rogan’s dream?”

White’s reaction was a mix of surprise and amusement as he repeated her question back to her, prompting Steele to say, “Joe Rogan, Dana White, what’s Dana White’s dream?”. The UFC head honcho was left trying to contain his laughter as he asked the show’s host to clarify, “Did you just think I was Joe Rogan?”

When Steele sheepishly admitted that she did, the UFC boss burst out laughing and stated, “She just called me f**king Joe Rogan, you thought I was f**king Joe Rogan… I was bald before Joe was ever bald. Just did a 2 hour f**king podcast, I flew here from Las Vegas, and she thought she was interviewing Joe Rogan. ”

White didn’t stop there as in a recent post on his Instagram story, he shared a picture of himself driving with a police vehicle in the background. He jokingly captioned the post, “I hope they think I’m Joe Rogan”. White’s lighthearted response to the mix-up highlighted his easygoing nature and ability to find humor in unexpected situations.

While he didn’t share any further updates about if the police did pull him over and mistake him for the host of the JRE,  his bond with Joe Rogan is evident as the UFC boss recently revealed the lengths he would go to keep him in the UFC!

White would rather leave the UFC than fire Joe Rogan

Dana White recently indicated that he would rather exit the UFC himself than ever let go of Joe Rogan! During a recent interview on the Lex Fridman podcast, White stated, “Anybody who is with me, has been with me, knows, when you’re with me, you’re with me”.

The remarks are interesting as Fridman brought up an incident from the past when Rogan was under fire for some questionable remarks that had surfaced online. He then revealed that the UFC boss had personally taken the time to reach out to Rogan and assure him that he’d resign from his position in the promotion if Rogan were to be let go!

White then confessed, “But when I’m here, the people who are with me and have been with me, they know exactly what’s up. Joe knows what’s up, and again it’s a two-way street.”
