Dana White walked out of his podcast appearance on ‘Deal or No Deal’ host Howie Mandel at the very start of the episode. After Mandel introduced the UFC CEO in glowing terms on his ‘Howie Mandel Does Stuff’ podcast on YouTube, calling him a businessman and inspiration, White walked out saying that he was “done” with podcasting.

This led to widespread speculations about the reason behind his abrupt exit, with some theorizing it was a publicity stunt that had been pre-arranged between the two, while others thought White was genuinely just worn out after doing too many podcasts. And when the two met again at another podcast recently, there was hope that they would shed some light on White leaving Mandel’s podcast at the very beginning.

Dana White joined conservative commentator Sage Steele on her podcast for a conversation that lasted more than two hours. Towards the end of the episode, Steele confused White for podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan and asked him the “last question: what’s Joe Rogan’s dream?”

White was taken aback for a moment but broke out in laughter when he realized the presenter’s gaffe and roasted her for it. “What’s Joe Rogan’s dream? Did you just think I was Joe? You just called me f**ing Joe Rogan, you thought I was f***ing Joe Rogan,” he asked Steel.

While Steel sarcastically agreed that she had indeed confused the UFC CEO for the comedian in an attempt to diffuse the situation, but to no avail as the Las Vegas resident continued his good-natured ribbing of the host and revealed that he in fact, got regularly confused for Rogan on a regular basis.

“I was born before Joe was ever born… So I will be walking down the street and people say ‘oh my God, can I get a picture with you?’ And I’m like ‘yeah’. They say ‘I love your podcast, I watch every one of them, like they think they just took a f***ing picture with Joe Rogan,” he said.

And while the UFC CEO did not mind being confused for the buff 56-year-old, he warned the conservative commentator against confusing him for Howie Mandel. “If you call me Howie Mandel before I leave here, that’s a wrap,” he added. And almost on cue, Howie Mandel emerged from the shadows and came on the podcast to join the conversation and share a laugh over the confusion.

Mandel and White bond over ridiculing the host

While fans were expecting that the two may address the disaster that was their last podcast appearance together, that was not the case. Noticeably, both men were remarkably amicable and upbeat and started bonding over Sage Steele’s kerfuffle of confusing White and Rogan.

White opined that since Rogan, him, and Mandel were all bald men, the podcast host couldn’t be blamed for getting them mixed up, to which the reality TV star readily agreed. Mandel further added to Steele’s embarrassment and claimed that the host signed off with the phrase “Joe Rogan, it’s been a pleasure having you” with all her guests. Clearly, the two men hit it off and haven’t missed a beat, which is good news and means we may see Dana White go on Howie Mandel’s podcast yet again.
