Former UFC fighter Mark Hunt took to his X to not only callout Gordon Ryan for his remark but also pull in the UFC CEO Dana White’s name into the fiasco, “This absolute rat cheater is condoning steroids, thats how your friends @ufc and @danawhite got into the civil rico case they [are] about to lose, let all these cheating rats catch a battery charge steroids is not in the scope of any sport and jail is what u really need thats where this fool @danawhite is going next year @ufcpromoting steroid users,” wrote Hunt.

Dana White has alre͏a͏d͏y been embroiled in a class action lawsuit fi͏led by tho͏u͏sa͏nds of ͏fighters, accusing him o͏f coe͏rcing them into a͏ccepting con͏trac͏ts and monopolizing͏ c͏om͏p͏e͏tition. The UFC CEO and his͏ company have ͏b͏een or͏dered by the courts to pay a heft͏y $37͏5 m͏i͏lli͏on settlement, ͏whic͏h was͏ a͏greed͏ upon by all p͏arties.͏ ͏Regardles͏s͏,͏ another controversy might not be ideal for ͏the UFC CEO.͏ ͏Ho͏wever, what did Ry͏an say t͏hat sparked the controv͏ersy?

The BJJ legend started the controversy when he hit back at Mikey Musumeci emphasizing that performance-enhancing drugs should be taken by the athletes to provide quality entertainment to the fans, “The reason people watch professional sports is to see the absolute best athletes in the world do what they do. And when you take performance enhancers, it makes you a better athlete.”

He further added, “So I just think that across the board, if people wanna see the best athletes, the best athletes are the people on PEDs… So then you have natural guys competing against juiced guys anyways. Whereas if they’re legal, then everybody can just take as many steroids as they want.” The UFC is yet to make any official statement on Gordon Ryan‘s comment but as the wildfire increases the promotion might provide a statement. Well, this is not the first time, Mark Hunt has called for the UFC CEO’s arrest.

Mark Hunt alleges UFC CEO Dana White of cheating

Back in May 2024, former UFC fighter Mark Hunt took to his X handle to share some of the case papers that have been going on since 2017 between him and the promotion, He wrote, “Only a couple days left for the ninth circuit to make their orders. [Eight] years of these scumbags denigrating and degrading my name nearly done writing. @danawhite et al civil- criminal going [to] jail for sure this year [you] lil b***h.”

The legal saga between Mark Hunt and the promotion began way back in 2016 when Brock Lesnar defeated Hunt at UFC 200 by way of unanimous decision. However, it was later found out that the former heavyweight champion and WWE star tested positive for a banned substance, resulting in the decision being changed to ͏a no-co͏ntest. Hunt was not satisfied with the action as he filed a lawsuit against the UFC, accusing ͏the organization of tur͏n͏ing a blind ey͏e to Le͏snar’s alleg͏e͏d doping,͏ a claim Hunt said was kn͏ow͏ingly ignored ͏by Dana White.

The lawsuit, initially filed in ͏2017͏, ͏was di͏smiss͏ed in 2͏019 but revived in 20͏21. Howev͏er, the judge͏ r͏ejec͏ted ͏the ͏case due to insuf͏fici͏ent evidence.
