Bellator and PFL made the biggest announcement in the history of their promotions. In 2023, the PFL made an incredible move by acquiring one of the big three promotions in America, Bellator. This power move was made in hopes of rivaling the juggernaut of MMA promotions, UFC, and subsequently Dana White. The PFL chairman and co-founder also promised something massive for fans in 2024.

Donn Davis made sure to stay true to the promise and announced a massive event for February 2024. The PFL has announced a “Champions vs. Champions” event between PFL champions and Bellator champions on 24th February 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dana White, in retaliation, made his biggest announcement for UFC 300 not long after, which has caught the attention of many.

The UFC 300 event is expected to become one of, if not the biggest, event for the UFC in 2024. Dana White has announced the fight between BMF champion Justin Gaethje and former featherweight champion Max Holloway for the BMF title.
