Dana White has been thrown under the bus a lot lately, following the physical altercation he engaged in with his wife during New Year’s Eve. Ever since, the UFC president hasn’t made any public appearances and has been quite inactive on social media, too. Except for the clarification he put out following the ‘slap’ incident, White has been away from any kind of interaction on social media.

In his clarification, the UFC president stated that whatever happened was as a result of ‘a lot of alcohol’ and was the first time that any such thing happened between him and his wife. He went on to hold the accountable for the incident and stated that he has ‘no excuse’ for his actions.

On the other hand, his wife, Anne White, released her statement, too. She addressed the issue by saying, “Dana and I have been married for almost 30 years. To say this is out of character for him is an understatement — nothing like this has ever happened before.”

Ever since this incident took place, the UFC president has refrained from social spaces in every manner until now. The 53-year-old finally broke out of the bubble and hit Instagram with an interesting post. One would expect it to be something like an explanatory post or anything of the same sort. But the UFC president went out of the box with this one.

Dana White makes his very first social-media post since the recent controversy

Recently, Dana White posted something on his Instagram story for the first time since the incident took place. In this post, he can be seen with the YouTuber Stephen Deleonardis a.k.a SteveWillDoit, where both of them can be seen holding stacks of cash.

Given White‘s love for gambling, and the fact that he tagged Red Rock Casino in his story, it is presumed that they must’ve won all that from gambling together, perhaps. However, it’s a little unusual that this is his first post following the controversy. But again, there isn’t anything, in particular, he could’ve posted, so this is it right here.
