

UFC legend and Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar recently shared a piece of sad news. The retired MMA fighter’s family shared that a fire destroyed their Nevada home this week.
Bonnar, who is lovingly called “The American Psycho”, had a great career as an MMA fighter. He made many fans with his skilled fighting and persona inside the cage.
The tragic news shook the MMA world, and many came out to support Bonnar. Fans and UFC fighters reacted to the incident and asked for the MMA community to help the family in these sad times.

According to TMZ, Bonnar’s wife, Andrea, shared the news on her Facebook saying, “I am just jumping on to let you know our house burned today and we have lost everything.”
Soon after, American actor-comedian Adam Hunter shared a link on his Twitter and requested the MMA community to donate to the cause.

Later, former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley shared the gofundme link as well and credited Bonnar for keeping UFC alive with his iconic match against Forrest Griffin.

One fan asked Dana White to pay up for the loss because it was Stephan Bonnar whose fight against Forrest Griffin kept the show on-air.

Stephan Bonnar vs. Forrest Griffin – The insane fight that made UFC popular
UFC has been in the business for over 25 years and has witnessed many crazy battles and some of the most iconic MMA fighters. However, there are always a few stars that shine brighter than the others. Similarly, fans heartily remember one such insane fight, even after almost 17 years.
In the finale of the first Ultimate Fighter season, Stephan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin faced off and gave an extremely entertaining performance. Many consider the fight the one that changed the face of the sport.

The fight was so good, iconic UFC announcer Bruce Buffer said before calling the fight, “three rounds of the greatest action seen inside the octagon in the history of the UFC.”
Bonnar lost the fight, but it was such an inspiring moment that UFC signed both him and Forrest Griffin on its roster.
