Michael ‘Venom’ Page may be well on his way to join the PFL. As of right now, Page is a free agent. However, his interesting act at the PFL European Championships has caused quite a stir among MMA fans around the world. Did Dana White miss out on yet another brilliant prospect?

Page was an accomplished Bellator fighter who became a free agent earlier this year. If White is to be believed, he was in talks with the UFC to join them. However, perhaps the fighter has already made his choice clear and it’s with a different promotion. Here’s all that you need to know.

On Friday, Michael ‘Venom’ Page stepped inside the PFL Octagon. At PFL Dublin, Page squared off with French star Cedric Doumbe. While it was just a friendly show of the MMA spirit, perhaps it’s more than just that. Thereafter, Page had this to say about the whole ordeal-“We’ll see what happens in the future.”

Will the two square off inside the PFL cage? If Page wants to fight Doumbe, joining the promotion is the fastest way of going about it. So, perhaps it’s all an indication of him joining them after all.

Dana White had earlier gone on record about his interest in signing Page. The fighter had met with the UFC in October ahead of UFC 294. “He’s a kid that we’re definitely interested in,” White had said. “He’s interested too. Possibly.”

Now, Doumbe’s callout has in all probability asserted the arrival of Page in PFL as well. “MVP! Whenever you want, I’m here for you!” Doumbe said as he entered the cage just to interact with his fans right before Page entered the cage to square off and shake hands.

Many anticipate this to be a clear sign, despite no official reports as of yet. But if that all materializes, it won’t be certainly the first time White lost a fighter to the PFL.

One of the most impressive key figures who transferred away from Dana White and Co. was none other than Francis Ngannou. Ngannou left the UFC earlier this year and became a part of the PFL to earn over $10 million for his contract and fight with Tyson Fury.

To add to it, the UFC also couldn’t nurture the talent of Impa Kasanganay who became the PFL light heavyweight champion only recently. Kasanganay had participated in Dana White’s Survivor Series but lost out. After that, he couldn’t work with the promotion at all.
