It’s seldom easy to look at a fighter and realize that he is going to be a star in the future. However, sometimes it is, and that’s why the UFC and Dana White are as successful as they are. They find fighters with a lot of potential and then turn them into superstars.
One of those fighters is welterweight and middleweight fighter Khamzat Chimaev. However, in this case, all the credit goes to him for turning a good CV into an argument for superstardom. The Swedish fighter has fought 9 times and finished all 9 fights before the third round. That’s an incredible record and stands alone in its greatness.

So much so that fans can’t get enough of him. Dana White appeared in an interview with Mike Swick for his podcast, Real Quick With Mike Swick Podcast. Swick asked him about the futures of promising featherweight Zabit Magomedsharipov and Chimaev.
“Chimaev is coming in next week to meet with us,” Dana replied, giving the fans something to cheer for. Chimaev last fought in September 2020. Ever since then, he has struggled with COVID-19 and post-COVID symptoms. This ruled him out of his match against Leon Edwards, which was made multiple times.

“Woodley should knock him out,” White said. Additionally, he expressed some concerns about Woodley losing his hunger after he won the welterweight belt. He explained that Woodley looked like a different fighter back then and isn’t as impressive right now. However, MMA fans will hope that White’s prediction and comes true, and they don’t have to see any more images of Jake Paul gloating.
