The UFC puts on the biggest shows for its anniversary cards. Both the UFC 100 and UFC 200 card were the biggest names in the promotion at the time. Fans are expecting a similar treatment for UFC 300 coming up in April this year.

So far, the UFC has announced three fights for it, with some indications for other fights. Welterweight champion Leon Edwards recently revealed that he would make his third title defense at UFC 300. Amid this uncertainty, UFC CEO Dana White revealed when he would be announcing more fights for the century card.

In a recent Instagram Live session, Dana White, who is in Bali, Indonesia, on vacation currently, answered fans’ questions. On being asked about UFC 300, he told fans that he would have a meeting with UFC executives on Tuesday, after which he would announce more fights for the UFC’s 300th PPV card.

As of now, UFC 300 will feature promising middleweight prospect Bo Nickal taking on Cody Brundage, while former champions Jiri Prochazka and Aljamain Sterling will face Aleksandar Rakić and Calvin Kattar, respectively, after losing their title bouts last year. Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad for the welterweight title can also be added to this list. Fans, however, were not very excited.

Hi, I am Kanishk and I am a UFC Writer at EssentiallySports. I love telling the stories of these magnificent fighters and this wildly unpredictable sport that is so frustrating and yet so joyous at the same time. I never really used to watch MMA, thinking it too crude or brutal a sport to deserve respect.
