Conor McGregor being elected as one of the coaches for the coming season of TUF enthralled a lot of fans. After an almost one-and-a-half-year timeout from the UFC due to his gruesome injury, McGregor was scheduled to face off against noted UFC Lightweight Michael Chandler‘s team for TUF. Further, the UFC also announced that there will be a bout between the two coaches of TUF somewhere during the season. Despite McGregor’s return to the UFC for TUF, it’s understandable that the fans want to see him fight inside the octagon even more.

This, in turn, has subjected UFC supremo Dana White to a variety of questions about when this McGregor-Chandler showdown shall finally commence. At the post-UFC on ABC 4 press conference, one of the reporters put forward a similar question before the 53-year-old. Although White initially wanted to shrug it off, still, he gave out some information about the issue that the fans might find interesting.

The reporter at the post-UFC on ABC 4 press conference had based her question solely on the Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler bout. She questioned White, I’m wondering if you have an update on McGregor vs Chandler?” Initially White replied, “I don’t know.” He also revealed the high frequency of the question coming to him, stating, “That is the most asked question I’m getting right now.”

But finally, he revealed a big piece of information about this issue. The UFC boss reiterated, Obviously the season of TUF will air soon and during that season we will be working hard to put that fight together.”

This announcement might have increased the restlessness among a lot of fans, especially looking at the fast-paced fighting of both the TUF coaches – ‘Mystic Mac’ and ‘Iron’. Even casual fans will surely be enthralled by the bout.

But some fans might be a bit disappointed as well. Even after the UFC supremo talked about the coveted bout, there was still no concrete timeline revealed for it.

Some fans might see this as White’s trick to draw audiences to TUF. Now, since he has revealed that the coveted McGregor-Chandler bout will happen during the telecasting period of TUF. It’s quite understandable that an even greater number of fans will now tune into TUF and follow the proceedings.
