The UFC President has recruited amazing fighters for UFC throughout his tenure. His recent recruit, Raul Rosas Jr. is earning praise from fans all around the world. White is in awe of the 18-year-old and had uplifting words for the youngster.

Raul Rosas Jr. made his UFC debut in UFC 282. In the event, he defeated Jay Perrin in round 1 via submission.

During the post-match press conference, Dana White was asked what he thinks of Rosas Jr. The UFC President was all praises for the youngster. He even compared Rosas Jr. to a young Vitor Belfort. “Tonight is a big night for him. He’s so young. The closest to him I think is Vitor Belfort when he was like 18 when he was fighting in the UFC. … Like I said earlier, what he accomplished tonight was amazing. .. Both of these kids are studs and they won their first fights. So it’s awesome,” White said.

“This kid is obviously young. But he’s got what a 25-year-old would have; that’s getting into the UFC. He’s special, he’s different than a lot of other 17 and 18-year-old kids. The fact that he can come in at that age with some of these guys that are 25 and have man strength and can hang with these guys is impressive,” White added.

Dana White looks to bring promising youngsters

Just like his latest recruit, Dana White will be looking to get some new faces into the UFC. His latest venture, Dana White’s Contender Series is a promising place for fighters to get into the UFC. The show has made 6 seasons till 2022 and White will be making more signings in the UFC.
