Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was recently in Italy for the christening of his son, Rian, in the Vatican. However, while there, he reportedly got into an altercation. The former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion reportedly attacked famous Italian DJ Francesco Facchinetti.
The DJ accused McGregor of punching and breaking his nose. He also said that it was with no provocation and the fighter punched him for no apparent reason.
Given the attention the incident received, Dana White was asked for his view on the same at the latest Dana White’s Contender Series press conference.

White, in the presser, said, “We talked about it a little in matchmaking – I don’t know enough about it. I honestly don’t know enough about it to comment on it. Obviously, I’ve seen what you guys – you guys have probably seen more than me, actually, to be honest with you. I haven’t talked to Conor, so I don’t know what the truth is. I don’t know exactly what happened. So to comment on it, I really can’t.”

While in Italy, McGregor also hung out with the manager of AS Roma, Jose Mourinho, who presented him with the club’s jersey. ‘The Notorious’ also met a fan of his, with a huge tattoo of him on his left arm.
Conor McGregor: Controversies and the comeback
‘The Notorious’ has been out of action ever since he broke his leg in the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. However, this hasn’t kept him away from the spotlight.
In his time away from the cage, the Irishman got into an altercation with singer Machine Gun Kelly at the MTV Video Awards red carpet. In the most recent scuffle in Italy, the DJ posted a video on his Instagram, accusing McGregor of attacking him.

The former lightweight and featherweight champion is on a road to recovery right now. After sustaining the injury, he immediately got the surgery done. While he is medically suspended until January 2022, he cannot compete at least until the latter half of 2022. However, his fans can rest assured that they won’t have to wait for that long to see what he does next.
