UFC President Dana White had big dreams with the promotions. He is still relentlessly chasing those dreams. In a recent conversation, the promoter was asked about how he keeps moving ahead thoughts the lows of being in the business.

White gave an insightful reply and gave used the American rock band Guns N’ Roses as an example.
He said, “The first and foremost is your ego. Your ego, you know, if you look at, you’re telling me f**king Guns N’ Roses couldn’t get back together and play. You know, how much money those guys lost and how many people didn’t get to see them play. It’s all because of ego…”.

“Do you really hate these guys that bad? You got together at one point and like each other and created something incredible and put out albums that are unbelievable. And now you could be touring and doing all that, you know. It’s all about keeping your ego in check and not losing your f**king mind.”

Further, he said that he never allowed the same thing to happen between him and the Fertitta brothers. They have a close relationship with them and that has been their major key to success.
Thus, White advises people to keep their egos in check if they have business partners.

White reveals the UFC‘s success needed all three of them. In addition to this, he also was of the opinion that people need to remember they are doing what they love.

The famous promoter also spoke about the struggles one may face while working for themselves in the early days. From his own experience, White shared that problems in businesses crop up every day and he compared it to ‘war’.

According to Dana White, the early days of the promotion included a lot of screaming and yelling. However, he feels he is a lot mellow currently.
