While ‘Gamebred’ has shown he can become one of the greatest of all times, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ is already being talked about as the GOAT. However, many fans and critics dislike the way Usman fights.
Recently, during an interview, UFC President Dana White shared his views on the same, “There are some people out there I know, some Usman haters. If you dislike Usman and the way he fights, you’re just a straight-up hater. The guy is an absolute savage man, every time he comes out, he comes out to finish you.”

White is among the many who believes that Usman’s elite level and consistency have led him to be successful. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ currently sits only behind Jon Jones in the UFC’s pound-for-pound rankings.
The UFC President also shared his views on the upcoming fight between Usman and ‘Gamebred’
“These guys hate each other and there’s this talk Masvidal is like if I had that type of fight I would finish him in the first round. Usman’s saying I don’t want to hear any excuses from this guy anymore, so this second fight needs to happen.”
What to expect from the Kamaru Usman vs Jorge Masvidal fight?
Usman and Masvidal first faced each other at the UFC 251 main-event. They put together the fight on short notice as Usman’s original opponent Gilbert Burns tested positive for COVID-19. On Fight Island, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ controlled the whole fight and ended up winning via a unanimous decision.

Now, this time around, Masvidal has done a proper training camp and Usman has also had time to work on his game plan against the BMF. Both fighters would have different plans. ‘Gamebred’ would love to knock out Usman early and not get into a grappling match with him.
Usman would love to takedown Masvidal and control the fight to the ground. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ could also look to use his newfound striking and give fans an encore of UFC 258.
