Dana White Shares Glimpses of Brand New UFC Performance Institute in Mexico

UFC President Dana White recently took to Twitter to provide the fans with a glimpse of the newly found UFC Performance Institute in Mexico. The images are quite magnificent, to say the least. The facility looks incredibly modern.

UFC Performance Institutes are some of the most advanced training institutes in all sports. The recent surge of Mexican fighters is the main driving force behind the promotion’s decision to open a center in the country. Tony Ferguson, Yair Rodriguez, the newly crowned bantamweight champion Brandon Moreno are some of the biggest Mexican stars in the UFC roster.

Fans are also thrilled to see the facility open as they hope there will be many other Mexican stars making their way to the world’s premier MMA organization.

MMA was nowhere near the height that it is today when the UFC started as a promotion. However, over time it has caught up with other mainstream sports in terms of popularity. White and his team deserve all the credit for that.

Also, the meteoric rise of Conor McGregor was a big reason behind the UFC’s status as a promotion. The Irishman was nothing short of phenomenal during his earlier days in the company. He recorded 8 out of the top 10 pay-per-views so fr in the history of the sport.

However, without White’s authentic planning and relentless work, the condition wouldn’t have been similar to what it is today. The UFC is now competing with the biggest mainstream sports in the world. And with recent ventures like the Performance Institutes, the spread in popularity will only enhance.

This weekend the UFC will be back for the fans once again. An intriguing featherweight contest between striking sensations Edson Barboza and Giga Chkadze will headline a UFC Fight Night card. Fans are buzzed for the event as they expect an exciting stand-up battle.
