Big John McCarthy who previously worked with the promotion agreed with the former fighter. Thomson further added, “I’ve had plenty of conversations with Dana about things. He thrives off the guys that lay it on the line whether they’re are ahead or whether they’re behind. He loves it. He’s addicted to it. That’s what makes him I think a good promoter. Is that he enjoys seeing guys like that go out of their way knowing that like the fight was on the line.”

Despite getting praise for his latest UFC 301 success, the 54-year-old was nowhere to be seen at the event. Most of his duties were taken over by UFC executive David Shaw. His absence did raise some questions, but White surprised his fans with his appearance at Netflix’s latest live special, ‘The Greatest Roast of All Time’. However, his outing didn’t turn out to be fruitful, as he ended up being roasted on live television.

Dana White gets brutally trolled by Andrew Schulz

Netflix’s latest live special has caught the attention of the fans out there. The event was hosted to grill one of the NFL’s legends, Tom Brady. UFC CEO Dana White was also present at the event, and he took the opportunity to grill one of his longtime friends. However, White ended up on the receiving end when comedian Andrew Schulz took shots at the UFC head honcho. Initially, Schulz praised White and said, “Dana’s here. Dana White, the greatest promotor in history! Make some noise for Dana!”.

What followed was a series of jokes about the 54-year-old. Schulz started by saying, “Dana has put more immigrants in cages than US border policies. Dana is a skinhead genius! He found a way for minorities to beat each other up.” He also made fun of White’s fighter pay issues, which have been prevalent for a long time now. The comedian further added, “And with that divorce coming up, you’re going to f*king need them. Oh that is why Dana is here so you can learn how to f*k a Brazilian out of half their purse.”

White seemed to enjoy the jokes and laughed them off without making much of an issue out of them. Next up for Dana White is UFC 302, and hopefully the event lives up to its expectations. How highly do you rate Dana White as a promoter? Let us know about it in the comments below.
