Nobody expected the UFC Vegas 110 undercard to ignite one of the biggest betting controversies since the James Krause scandal. But when Isaac Dulgarian walked to the Octagon, something strange was already happening behind the scenes. Odds that had him as a massive favorite suddenly plunged. Some sportsbooks even removed prop bets altogether.

Moments later, Dulgarian was submitted in the first round by Yadier Del Valle in a performance that raised more questions than answers. And within 24 hours? He was cut. His purse was withheld. And the FBI was involved. This was déjà vu for fans who remembered 2022, when Darrick Minner’s late line movement triggered a full-scale investigation and led to lifetime bans. Now here we were again. Another fighter. Another suspicious swing. So how did UFC boss Dana White react as the latest scandal began to unfold?

Dana White issues a stern warning to fighters amidst UFC gambling controversy
The UFC CEO explained it all himself during a fiery appearance on the Flagrant Podcast with Andrew Schulz. According to White, the UFC received a disturbing call before a fighter even entered the cage. As he described it, “So they called us, and told us and our lawyer, called the fighter and his lawyer, they’re already at the Apex and warming up and said, ‘There’s some irregular betting going on you right now, losing the first round.’”
The concern was simple: someone might know something nobody else did. Was the fighter injured? Did he owe money? Was he being pressured? White said they asked the same questions to the fighter and his lawyer. Their response? “So then they said, f— no, absolutely not, I’m going to kill this guy. So we said, okay, and we let the fight go. And then we’re sitting there, the fight goes to the ground, the kid got his back and I go, “he’s got him in a f— rear naked choke”. So I call my chief operating officer, and I said, he’s got his back, oh he got out of it, oh, he’s back in it. F— fight’s over.”

White immediately called his COO, who responded with a furious, “motherf—-“. The UFC head honcho then revealed that he, “I literally went in the back and called the FBI. The FBI f— showed up on Monday, we walked them through everything and now there’s a full blown investigation.”

And that’s when Dana White made his most intense promise yet as he stated on the ‘Flagrant’ podcast, “I will be the one that will bury you. I will f— bury you. To come into any league and start fixing or throwing, fights or games or any of that sh—, yeah”

The UFC’s official statement after Dulgarian’s fight made the tone clear: nothing matters more than the integrity of the sport. Their betting integrity partner, IC360, is already conducting a “thorough review.” William Hill and Caesar’s even refunded losing bets, a rare move that signals just how suspicious the situation looked from the outside. The Minner–James Krause case dragged on for years before the full picture emerged, and this situation may follow that same long, murky path. And following the controversy, Isaac Dulgarian’s coach has distanced himself from the fighter and the situation!
Factory X coach Marc Montoya cuts ties with Isaac Dulgarian
But while IC360 sifted through betting data and sportsbooks issued refunds, another storm brewed far from the Octagon. It wasn’t Dulgarian taking the hits anymore, it was his own coach. And the question quickly shifted from what happened in the cage to who else might be dragged into the fallout?

Marc Montoya, the owner and head coach of Factory X, didn’t wait for whispers to grow louder. He stepped forward, and his tone made one thing clear, he felt blindsided. Speaking on ‘The Ariel Helwani Show’, he stated, “My gym is being attacked, my integrity is being attacked, and I just want to first and foremost say that we have nothing to do with any of the allegations being brought upon us.”
Montoya even refused to speculate about the fight itself. He described his role as to “lead and not react,” and even distanced himself from the world of gambling entirely. And then came the moment everyone wondered about, was Dulgarian still training under him?
The Factory X head coach revealed, “The conversation was that he was cut from the UFC, and unfortunately, there’s an investigation that is being had, and, ultimately, that he’s not part of this Factory X team because of everything going on. Whether he’s guilty or he’s innocent, in my prediction, Isaac Dulgarian is not gonna fight again.”

So, the deeper this situation goes, the more it feels like the sport is standing on a fault line. Dana White’s message couldn’t be louder. He’s not brushing this under the rug. He’s not waiting for committees or commissions. He’s calling the FBI himself and warning anyone even thinking about manipulating a fight that he will “bury” them. Whether you love him or hate him, it’s hard to deny the weight of that stance. After all, the future of UFC gambling integrity might depend on it.
