UFC President Dana White always finds himself in the news. The long-serving UFC President was recently in the news for gifting Kyle Forgeard from the Nelk Boys $250,000 for his birthday. While the boss surprised Forgeard, White himself received quite the surprise on his birthday.

Dana White celebrated his 53rd birthday on July 28. While the UFC boss must have received a lot of gifts, White recently shared an image of a present he received from former fighter Din Thomas.

Thomas who seemed to mimic White’s gesture of gifting Forgeard $250,000, gifted the UFC boss a paper with $250,000 written on it. The paper read, “Happy Birthday $250,000 IOU I’mma got your back!”

White clicked a photo of himself with this present and posted it on Twitter. The UFC President wrote, “Thank u for the incredible birthday present @DinThomas” 

The veteran fighter replied to this post by White. Thomas, in his tweet, displayed his love for the UFC President. He wrote, “You know you my dog!”

Over the years, Din Thomas has been a good friend of Dana White. Since his retirement, Din Thomas has been involved in different roles within the sport of mixed martial arts.

What is Din Thomas doing since his retirement from the UFC?

Din Thomas is a former UFC lightweight fighter. In his career in the UFC, Thomas has had impressive wins over the likes of fighters such as Jeremy Stephens, Clay Guida, and Matt Serra. After announcing his retirement in 2014, Thomas has now taken up different roles.

The former UFC lightweight fighter is a co-star on the UFC’s popular show, Dana White: Lookin’ For a Fight. In the show, White, along with Serra and Thomas, travels around the world to scout upcoming talent for the UFC. Speaking of Thomas on the show, White said, “He’s beat some of the best guys in the sport. Serra, Guida, Pulver, and he’s a black belt in Jiu Jitsu, and he’s a lot of fun to hang out with.”
