Hasim Rahman Jr, the son of former heavyweight world champion Hasim Rahman Sr, appeared on the DAZN boxing show. While responding to some criticism White had thrown his way, Rahman said, “Dana White could put anybody in there with me. Francis whatever his name is… Jon Jones, whoever he want. He put him in there with me and I would destroy him. He knows that.”
Paul’s opponent further continued, “He’s not gonna put none of his fighters in there with me. So, I really don’t have, you know, I don’t put much weight on what he said… I don’t appreciate, he don’t even know me. He’s speaking on me like I’m just some type of just fighter that just, ‘Oh you just got knocked out.’ Dana White will get slapped in his mouth if he comes around talking crazy to me.”
These harsh words from Hasim Rahman Jr come right after Dana White’s criticism of him. During a press conference, White brought up a loss Rahman suffered.

White, who is a massive boxing fan, was asked if he knew who Rahman Jr. was. The UFC President answered this question and said, “I know of him. I saw he just got knocked out by Tommy Morrison’s son.”
The UFC President was further asked if Rahman could break Paul’s undefeated streak. White seemed unsure of that happening. He said, “He (Rahman Jr) just got knocked out. Why wouldn’t you go after the guy who knocked him out?… That’s not a business I’m in. I’m in a different business than that. I’m in the tough fight business.”
While Rahman Jr. and White exchange words, they both are scheduled to have extremely busy days ahead of them. The UFC President will look after the upcoming PPV UFC 277 on July 30, whereas Rahman Jr. will look to pump the brakes on Jake Paul’s rise on August 6th.
