BJJ is boring! Atleast Dana White feels so. The UFC CEO is one of the most polarizing figures in the fighting world. He has helped transform the world of Martial Arts. Coming from a fighting background, White has taken the UFC to new heights. Known for his outspoken nature, White is often on the news. Our mind goes back to when his newest venture, the PowerSlap, was heavily criticized by several personalities as inhuman.

Now, the 54- year-old is in trouble after his recent comments regarding Jiu-Jitsu. White shared his thoughts regarding Jiu-Jitsu and took the liberty to call it ‘boring.’ Such a comment was not well received by the fans of the discipline. White has always been a fan of combat sports. Not only does he focus on the UFC, but also promotes different sports. In comparison to the other fight forms, Jiu-Jitsu is far more technical. This fight form basically uses the opponent’s strengths to their advantage. After the remarks of the UFC CEO, the news was shared by BJJEE on Instagram. Soon after, the fans took to the internet and shared their opinions. Let us take a look at a few of them.

One fan gave us the details regarding Jiu-Jitsu and commented:

“Jiu-Jitsu is like chess. If you don’t know how to play, it’s impossible to watch.” Not sure if that’s why White called it boring.

Another fan seemed highly upset with the UFC CEO and commented:

“Bros mad one championship is doing better globally.”

One fan mentioned the fact of White promoting One Slap and commented:

“Coming from the guy that’s telling us to watch Power Slap” This was a controversy that had the fans occupied for a long time.

Another fan reminded him that the UFC exists because of Jiu-Jitsu.

“The only reason the UFC exists today is because of Jiu- Jitsu. How soon he forgets”

One fan made a huge claim about White and commented:

“He has a history of dismissing something only to embrace it once he can make money from it” Well, this is a personal opinion and there’s no justification.

Another fan again reminded how White is promoting One Slap and commented:

“Of course, the redneck who likes slap contests is going to say that.”

One of the fans commented,

“This baldy will say anything to get headlines” The fan seems to be really angry, however, shaming someone for their appearance is never a noble deed.

Most of the comments above are against White and his remarks regarding Jiu- Jitsu. White himself had a boxing background before he joined the UFC. UFC too, has some of the best BJJ talents.
