UFC CEO Dana White has been on the receiving end of yet another flurry by Mark Hunt on social media. The former UFC heavyweight and PRIDE FC legend was involved in a lawsuit against the promotion that lasted from 2017 to 2023. The ‘Super Samoan’ had alleged that the UFC was involved in racketeering, fraud, and breach of contract after his fight against Brock Lesnar at UFC 200 and had deceived him about Lesnar’s use of banned substances.

However, in 2023, a Nevada judge ruled that Hunt had failed to provide enough evidence to support his claims against the UFC and as such, dismissed his lawsuit. But in a recent social media post, Hunt fired another salvo at the UFC boss and alleged that he might have “problems coming”.

Mark Hunt is not yet done with Dana White

Mark Hunt locked horns with the UFC after his loss to Brock Lesnar at UFC 200 in 2016. Lesnar later tested positive for banned substances leading to the unanimous decision win being overturned into a no-contest. This kicked off the legal proceedings between Hunt and the promotion. The heavyweight star claimed that the UFC and Dana White had purposely not informed him about Lesnar’s usage of the performance-enhancing substances.

But in 2023, US district judge Jennifer A. Dorsey dismissed the lawsuit. In a report shared by ‘MMA Junkie,’ she was quoted as declaring, “Despite extensive briefing and oral argument, Hunt has been unable to provide the necessary evidentiary support for his theories.”

But that hasn’t stopped Hunt from continuing his crusade against the UFC and Dana White. In a recent Instagram post, the former UFC heavyweight shared an image of White with the caption, “A little birdy told me u and your criminal friends got problems coming dont worry @danawhite they will put u in the VIP section with pdiddy…”

While the specifics of the alleged “problems” remain unclear, Hunt’s ongoing crusade against the UFC shows no signs of waning. White, on the other hand, has dismissed Hunt’s accusations in the past, describing him as ‘delusional.’

He also emphasized the numerous legal defeats Hunt has faced against the promotion. But according to text messages uncovered during the recent anti-trust lawsuit filed against the UFC by former fighters, the UFC boss was not at all pleased with Mark Hunt.

No love lost between White and Hunt

The text messages involving Mark Hunt were originally obtained by John S. Nash during the anti-trust lawsuit proceedings against the UFC. They showcased an exchange between Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta, where the UFC boss used the word “bury” in reference to Hunt’s legal proceedings against the UFC.

White was quoted in the message as stating, “Okay, yeah. He’s (Mark Hunt) a f*ck head. Bury that f*cker.” So it is safe to say that Hunt has burned all the bridges with the UFC with his legal onslaughts.

It remains to be seen if the saga between Mark Hunt, the UFC, and Dana White ends here or if there will be more layers uncovered in the future.
