  • Theyre the most viewed cause the ufc account reposts at least 67 powerslap vids a day
  • As a mma fan i think its really dumb and not exciting at all
  • You telling me power slap videos got more views than soccer and cricket? Come on now
  • Calling this a sport is disrespectful towards every Real Sport
  • Dana, you can log off now
  • Don’t link them to the UFC page and show me the numbers after that
  • U all should be promoting kickboxing or muay thai instead of this bs

It can be understood from the reaction of the fans that they are not amused by the random showcase of numbers by Dana White. The MMA faithful declared that the sheer number of views on Power Slap is solely because UFC shares most of its videos. Nonetheless, this is not the first time that White has incurred the wrath of enthusiasts for Power Slap.

Power Slap criticism doesn’t just pertain to slaps

The criticism of the sport is not limited to fans. Prominent figures from various backgrounds voiced concerns, with one entity even going as far as to label it as “organized brain damage”. They argue that the sport’s intensity may lead to detrimental outcomes for participants. Even a Hall of Fame boxing promoter Lou DiBella has called it out for being a dangerous thing.
