Danaa Batgerel Calls Out Sean O’Malley and Jose Aldo After UFC 261 Victory

The UFC 261 event at Jacksonville, Florida has officially wrapped up. A Bantamweight showdown in the early Prelims of the card had everybody talking about the rising talent, Danaa Batgerel. The 31-year-old Mongolian native beat Kevin Natividad to secure his second win in the UFC. Following his impressive finish, ‘Storm’ issued some mega call-outs to some of the most elite fighters at 135.

In a post-fight interview, his translator said, “He wants to fight as soon as possible again. And he wants to fight Jose Aldo and Sean O’ Malley or whatever was the top in his Bantamweight.”

Per the translator, Batgerel said he wants to share the octagon with Aldo as, “Jose Aldo is one of his favorite fighters and he was champion before. And he used to watch his fights, and he is actually inspired by him so he wants to face him.

‘Storm’ is planning for a swift comeback to the octagon because his fight didn’t even cross the 1-minute mark. He took no damage in the bout as his opponent only threw three significant strikes in 50 seconds and got finished. Hence, Batgerel can make a quick return as he is unlikely to be hit with a medical suspension.

If the Mongolian successfully secures a fight against any of these two fighters, it will take him directly to the main card as both Aldo and O’Malley are popular names.

Sean O’Malley is a rising star who has secured a collection of impressive KO’s. Meanwhile, Jose Aldo is a former UFC champion who has fought the likes of Conor McGregor, Max Holloway, and more. Hence, both mixed martial artists will be a huge step up in competition for Batgerel.
