Conor McGregor last fought in the UFC on July 10, 2021, at UFC 264, where he faced Dustin Poirier in their highly anticipated trilogy bout. The fight ended dramatically after McGregor suffered a broken leg at the end of the first round, resulting in a doctor’s stoppage. The injury marked a devastating setback for the former two-division champion, leaving fans uncertain about his future in the Octagon. Despite the unfortunate outcome, McGregor remained defiant, vowing to return stronger and continue his fighting career.

Since then, speculation about his comeback has been constant, with fans eagerly awaiting news of his next opponent. McGregor’s ability to draw massive crowds and generate excitement ensures that his return, whenever it happens, will be one of the most anticipated events in UFC history. Amidst all the chaos Daniel Cormier has also shared his honest opinion on the whole. The former dual-champion has given a slim chance of hope for the Irishman’s return.

While speaking to Chael Sonnen on his Good Guy/ Bad Guy podcast he said, “I think Conor will come back, I say… 25%. I’m not as sure as I was before. 25%, he comes back.” Cormier also announced the opponent he will be facing on his possible return and it will be none other than Michael Chandler. He said, “But if he does it will be against Michael Chandler. I think Michael Chandler unknowingly has done everything right to get himself that fight. And one of the main reasons he will get that fight is because he didn’t go out there and beat Charles Oliveira in the way that it seemed like he could after the first fight. If he had won Conor McGregor might not have fought him”.

The MMA community eagerly anticipated Conor McGregor’s return to competition. But many were surprised when his focus shifted toward boxing rather than stepping back into the Octagon. Fans had been expecting McGregor to resume his UFC career, making his decision to pursue another boxing match an unexpected twist in his comeback journey. But it seems his boxing return is also in jeopardy at the moment.

Rumored Conor McGregor vs Logan Paul fight facing a huge risk at the moment

The clash between McGregor and Paul would generate intense hype, fueled by their larger-than-life personalities and ability to promote a fight. Paul’s size advantage and improving boxing skills could make for an interesting dynamic, but McGregor’s experience, speed, and striking accuracy would likely give him the upper hand. While nothing has been officially announced, the possibility of this matchup remains a hot topic, and if it happens, it will undoubtedly captivate fans across combat sports and entertainment. However, in the debut episode of WWE’s RAW on Netflix, Logan Paul made a surprising revelation.
