If you are a fighter trying to make it big in the combat circuit, your first preference would be to get a UFC contract. To date, UFC is the biggest promotion name when it comes to MMA, and hundreds of fighters try their luck every day. One such fighter is Dillon Danis, a friend and teammate of former UFC lightweight champ Conor McGregor.

Danis, who has been known for having a loud mouth and is famous in the fight circle for being closely associated with Conor McGregor, is a welterweight fighter in Bellator MMA. Now, it seems he is looking to make a leap and join the UFC. He even made some really tall claims about some of the biggest names in the promotion, but the fans aren’t convinced.

Dillon Danis’ attempt to get a UFC contract goes viral as boxing fight draws close

Does Dillon Danis really plan on signing with the UFC? Or is he just pulling a stint to stay relevant? Well, it seems he already caught the attention of the fight world when he called out some of the biggest names in the promotion. A recent post has been going viral on X (formerly Twitter) that states that Dillon Danis has claimed that he would leave Bellator MMA and go to the UFC. Furthermore, he said he was more than prepared to take on any fighter in the 170-division. He named some fighters, like Colby Covington, Neil Magny, Leon Edwards, and Ian Garry.

However, he has also said that he is open to moving to the PFL, but he has a condition. The only way Dillon Danis would consider taking his interests to the PFL is if they put him on a fight card opposite Jake Paul or former UFC HW champ Francis Ngannou.

Dillon Danis Can’t Even “Throw a Punch”, Despite Training Years With Conor McGregor, Colby Covington Disses in X-Rated Rant

What is baffling is the fact that Dillon Danis already has an important boxing bout right around the corner. On October 14, Dillon Danis will step into the boxing ring to fight Jake Paul’s brother and YouTube sensation, Logan Paul. The beef between the two escalated to the point where Paul’s fiance dragged Danis into a lawsuit. With so much drama surrounding this fight, Danis has a lot to prove, especially if he is going to be making such tall claims.

Fans tear Conor McGregor’s teammate apart after UFC fighters called out by Bellator MMA fighter

When Danis called out the UFC fighters and said that he would leave Bellator MMA if the UFC offered him a contract, fans didn’t hold back. They immediately took to the comment section to give Danis a harsh reality check about getting a UFC contract and surviving in the promotion.

“Dana would never sign Dillon,” remarked one fan.

Another supported him saying,

“Pretty sure there’s a reason Dillon isn’t already on the UFC roster,”

Then, the fans started calling him out on his skills. Most seemed sure that Dillon Danis wouldn’t stand a chance in the UFC. Some fans in the comment section left the following comments – 

“This dude has no business in the ufc.”

“All of the guys mentioned would dominate him.“

“seeing his striking game in Bellator, he’d get absolutely destroyed in UFC“

“Bro don’t even compete in bellator and he gonna just go to the ufc ? Lmfaoo come on”

One fan seemed annoyed with Danis.

“Can we put his name to rest after Paul destroys him? Please,”

Another person commented saying,

“I don’t understand how he’s still in the scene,”

One fan claimed that Danis ‘never fights’ in Bellator either.

“He literally doesn’t even fight in Bellator, he ducks and avoids fights.“

One fan suggested a fight against the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev as a potential opponent for Dillon Danis in the UFC.

It seems there are a lot of options when it comes to fighters who might welcome Dillon Danis to the UFC but the million-dollar question is this – will the UFC sign Dillon Danis? Will Dana White agree to that?
