It seems like Israel Adesanya made more impact than he could have imagined with his most recent win. Adesanya beat archrival Alex Pereira at UFC 287 via s stunning knockout. He then gave one of the most iconic post-fight speeches of all time.
Adesanya’s performance and post-fight speech resonated with many fans and pros alike. One of them was former UFC heavyweight champion, Bas Rutten. Recently, Rutten spoke to Joe Rogan about Adesanya’s win on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience.’ The Dutch MMA icon was in awe of Adesanya’s mental fortitude to earn the win against someone who was 3-0 up against him.

Now, another JRE guest is singing Adesanya’s praises. However, unlike Rutten, he was praising ‘Stylebender’ more for his life outside the cage, than his achievements inside it.

Stand-up comic and one of Joe Rogan’s good friends, Bert Kreischer, recently appeared on JRE. While on the show, Kreischer had great things to say about Adesanya after recently partying with the UFC champion.
Bert Kreischer reveals how Israel Adesanya inspired him
In episode #1990 of JRE, Rogan hosted Bert Kreischer. The pair discussed Kreischer’s upcoming movie and how he spent time with Israel Adesanya. Apparently, the UFC middleweight champion had left quite an impression on the comic.
He said, “I’m a ride or die for him. He’s the nicest. We sat and talked. We just sat and talked about like, something really important in life is celebrating, like celebrating victories. I love the way he does that.”
Kreischer said that he loved how Adesanya celebrated his victories. In his opinion, the universe is set right after you do that. He also quoted his wife LeeAnn Kreischer saying, “Earn your Mondays… It means bust your a** all f***ing weekend for us comics, and do so well you earn your Monday.”

He added, “Izzy earns his Monday. After that fight, the way he celebrates life for like two weeks. He goes out. He’s in Miami, he’s in New York, he’s in Vegas, he’s in LA, he’s in London- he does a tour. I said to him ‘That’s really inspirational.'”
Adesanya’s recent social media activities showed he was in Melbourne. The champion could still be on his victory tour from beating Pereira. Meanwhile, the UFC’s current plans could have him fighting in September as UFC returns to Australia for the second time this year.
He also made headlines after the recent news of an alleged lawsuit involving ex-girlfriend Charlotte Powdrell.
