Conor McGregor adds a series of tweets pointing towards his comeback

Conor McGregor last graced the UFC Octagon in a highly anticipated trilogy match against Dustin Poirier. The fight was expected to proceed smoothly; however, McGregor suffered a severe leg injury that forced the match to be stopped. Since that unfortunate incident, McGregor has been absent from the Octagon and it’s been approximately two years since McGregor has officially fought anywhere.

Earlier this year, McGregor took on the role of a coach for The Ultimate Fighter Season 31, opposite Michael Chandler. Traditionally, at the end of the season, coaches are expected to face off in a fight. However, McGregor’s plans were interrupted by USADA, which required him to enter the USADA testing pool before returning to the octagon. This delay has pushed back his anticipated comeback to UFC 300, scheduled for next year.
