After a successful 25-year career, former UFC veteran Alistair Overeem stated his plans to explore new opportunities and focus on promoting health in his future endeavors. As a result, the 43-year-old fighter announced his retirement from combat sports during an interview on ‘Lovin Dubai’. Overeem’s retirement gained attention due to his significant weight loss, which was a deliberate choice influenced by a nutritionist named Julian VanHoven. Under VanHoven’s guidance, Overeem embraced a vegetarian lifestyle and took supplements to cleanse his body of parasites.
