He said, “Chandler is in a very fine position here. That if he were to come out and make any type of demand, it could cost him the match. UFC insider shares his opinion on the much-awaited fight which might surprise the fans

Josh ‘The Punk’ Thomson and Big John McCarthy recently took to their podcast ‘Weighing In’ to discuss the fight. The pair shared the reasons why the fight may not hold huge importance for Chandler. Conor McGregor is a former two-division champion and one of the biggest stars in the UFC. However, he has been inactive for more than three years, which has raised questions about his ability and stardom. Despite Chandler waiting to fight him, Thomson feels beating McGregor doesn’t hold any huge importance now.

While speaking to Big John McCarthy Thompson said, “If Chandler did it, I don’t even think we would be impressed. Okay, you beat a dude that’s been doing movies and drinking and partying for three years,” He further added, “There is no real red panty night… we’re beating somebody who’s coming off the couch. Red panty night means like, you’re getting paid more, you’re getting this and you’re getting that.”
