Derek Brunson and Kevin Holland are going back and forth at each other on social media for a while. The two top middleweights have a beef between them. Now, the UFC has given them the perfect opportunity to settle it down.

The duo will face each other in the main event of a UFC card on March 20. It was reported by ESPN MMA earlier. Considering the recent run both fighters are in, this promises to be a peach of a contest.

Brunson accused Holland of trying to get out of the proposed contest as ‘Trailblazer’ has posted some videos about him smoking weed during off time, recently. Derek Brunson believes this is Holland playing tricks to get busted by USADA so he can avoid the fight.

Brunson defeated young prospect Edmen Shahbazyan in his last outing, back in August. Holland, on the other hand, is on a roll recently. He was 5-0 in 2020. ‘Trailblazer’ knocked out ‘Jacare’ Souza in a sensational manner in his last bout.

Holland is a unique character inside and outside the Octagon. His trash-talking aspect is quite unmatched. He doesn’t even stay quiet while fighting. So, he has started coming at Brunson with all guns blazing on social media recently.

The clash promises to be a thriller with both fighters matching up great stylistically. How Holland handles a seasoned veteran like Brunson remains to be seen. If he can repeat anything like his performance against Souza, it will be tough for the UFC to keep him out of title contention for much longer.
