Joe Rogan may not claim this very often but he’s also a bit of a nerd when it comes to pop culture. The JRE host has been a huge fan of movies as well as space and what’s better for him if you combine these two? However, Rogan has never shied away from criticizing the fault lines when he comes across them and Star Trek just tasted the wrath of the podcaster.

Is Joe Rogan more of a Star Wars guy?

Joe Rogan recently had the opportunity to talk about Star Trek with his guest, Bobby Lee. The duo conversed about nearly everything and during their conversation, Rogan and Lee indulged in the world of the sci-fi movie, Star Trek. The 56-year-old asserted that he is not a big fan of Star Trek but watches it just for nostalgia, Lee interrupted him to state that he loves the series and it might be one of the best sci-fi ever. Well, Rogan ended up watching a scene in the series where Kirk was fighting a space lizard.

The fakeness of the scene sent Rogan is a laughing streak. “Now he’s going to throw rocks at him. Yeah, you’ve got to hit him in the ear, bro. Get close. The guy’s slow as fuck. Look at him. This is so dumb. This is so dumb. This is so dumb. It hurts my feelings”

Picture perfect terrible choreography, everything about it is hilarious.” Interestingly, Rogan’s criticism of Star Trek doesn’t end here.

Rogan bashes Star Trek left and right

Rogan loves Star Trek but he doesn’t care about the recurring flaws in the series as mentioned above the choreography of the series is pretty bad and this irks the 56-year-old podcaster. While having a conversation about Klingon (a species in the Star Trek series), Rogan points out something very obvious “Is that crazy they have spaceships they still need knives”

He further added “You don’t have a better, you have weapon. Well, first of all, they didn’t even have the fu**ing internet. It’s the dumbest show ever, and they had walkie-talkies. They hadn’t even figured out phones. Like Kirk out, click. But yet, they could beam you up. They literally take your body, and it’s still a good show.”
