Charles Oliveira earned a spectacular victory against Beneil Dariush at UFC 289. Oliveira proved that he is indeed one of the most entertaining fighters in the UFC. ‘Do Bronx’ and the Russian fighter squared off at UFC 280 in October 2022. Oliveira faced a tragic loss against Makhachev. He could not escape from the arm triangle choke of Makhachev, and he lost the bout in the second round. Now, once again, Oliveira will face Makhachev. However, ‘Do Bronx’ is not planning to change anything when he faces Makhachev for the second time in the UFC octagon.

It seems that Oliveira is confident about his fighting style and does not feel like he needs to make many changes to it. The bout between Oliveira and Dariush was first scheduled for UFC 288. However, Oliveira withdrew from the bout due to an injury. Many believed that the injury would affect Oliveira badly and that he would not be able to fight well. However, towards the end of the very first round, Oliveira proved it the other way.

Islam Makhachev is not afraid of ‘Do Bronx’

A day before Oliveira’s bout against Beneil Dariush. The UFC lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev, talked about what would happen if Oliveira won. He said that if ‘Do Bronx’ managed to win against ‘Benny,’ he would have to ask the UFC president, Dana White, for a rematch.

Makhachev further added that he is not afraid of Oliveira’s grappling skills. Makhachev is confident about outperforming Oliveira when the two clash for a second time. Oliveira has already made history in the UFC as a fighter who has achieved the most submission victories in the history of the promotion. However, the Russian fighter is least bothered by Oliveira’s fighting skills.
