Joe Rogan imagines a fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and BJ Penn

 In the JRE MMA Show #139 with Bas Rutten, Rogan imagined a bout between BJ Penn and Khabib Nurmagomedov. He said, “I feel like if like you could get time machines together, I would take Khabib when he beat Conor McGregor and face BJ Penn when BJ Penn fought Sean Sherk, or BJ Penn fought Joe Stevenson When BJ Penn fought Diego Sanchez. That BJ Penn versus That Khabib hollysh*t… That fight gives me goosebumps just imagining it.

However, when it comes to dominance, it’s just Khabib Nurmagomedov. Rogan later detailed how the Dagestani destroyed the entire UFC lightweight division. He has defeated excellent fighters like Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje.

He had complete dominance over each and every fight he fought. Rogan has always held Nurmagomedov in high regard. Similarly, he feels that BJ Penn is one of the fighters who has the ability to destroy his opponent. Hence, the mention of a fight between these two brought great excitement to the UFC commentator. But Rogan also realizes that there is very little chance for the bout to come to fruition.
