Joe Rogan sat down with legendary mixed martial artist Bas Rutten in a recent episode of JRE. Both engaged in a captivating discussion about the world of MMA. As the conversation delved deeper into the topic of memorable matchups, Rogan’s imagination sparked a fascinating scenario: a hypothetical fight between two of the most talented fighters in UFC history, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and BJ Penn. The mere mention of this dream matchup sent a shiver down Rogan’s spine. The 55-year-old couldn’t help but get goosebumps at the thought of these two iconic fighters stepping into the octagon.

With his suffocating ground game, the Russian fighter had managed to remain undefeated throughout his entire career. Nurmagomedov’s strength and relentless pursuit of victory made him a formidable force in the MMA world. On the other hand, BJ Penn, a former two-division champion and UFC Hall of Famer, possessed an exceptional blend of technical brilliance and natural talent.
