Michael Chandler has already proven that he has a spectacular team with him in the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter. His opposing Team Conor McGregor has been suffering loss after loss. Now Team Chandler has a whopping six victories to none for Team McGregor. In the latest episode of TUF, McGregor went forward with his toughest fighter but still failed to make a mark. This edition of The Ultimate Fighter saw Kurt Holobaugh from Team Chandler lock horns with Lee Hammond.

It was an unbelievable loss for Team McGregor, as Hammond was the top-ranked lightweight of the team, while Holobaugh was the fourth-ranked fighter of Team Chandler. ‘The Notorious’ was stunned when his team member lost the bout via submission. He hardly expected the season to turn out totally against him. Even though his team members have greatly disappointed him, McGregor is still taking care of them.

Conor McGregor gives a positive update

 Conor McGregor took to his Instagram handle to share a positive update about his team. The Irishman shared an image of the food prepared for his team in his Instagram story. ‘The Notorious’ wrote,Levels. Team McGregor, Tuf #lookedafter @espn.” Chef Juan Manuel prepared the food. Manual posted the image of the food, which was shared by McGregor. Along with the post, he wrote, “Food for the team after the weigh-in, with the strict orders and procedures of food science from @tristin_kennedy_nutritionist.

Manuel also prepared pancakes for Team McGregor. In a video shared by him, the Irishman himself was carrying the pancakes to his team members. In the footage, ‘The Notorious’ was enthusiastically explaining to his team the special ingredients of the pancakes. Even though Team McGregor faced only losses in the reality series, it seems that the Irishman is still supporting his team to perform well in the upcoming bouts.

Will ‘The Notorious’ fight ‘Iron’?

Now, it’s almost clear that Team Chandler will win the season. McGregor became a part of the reality series, as it was a gateway for him to come back to the MMA world. The Irishman has not fought in the UFC octagon in the last two years, and he was eager to return to the UFC. According to the plans of the promotion, the UFC superstar will fight against Chandler when TUF 31 comes to an end. However, McGregor has not entered the USADA testing pool.

He should have entered the pool at least six months before the fight, and it’s already late, as the fight was scheduled towards the end of the year. However, Chandler is confident about the fight coming to fruition. He believes that McGregor wouldn’t take things to this extent if he had no intention of coming back to the UFC octagon.
