“Did He Have a Stroke?”- Joe Rogan Trolled for His ‘Nurmagomedov’ Botch-Up at UFC 272

Joe Rogan is one of the most loved personalities in the UFC, even though he isn’t a fighter. The cooler commentator is adored by fighters, fight fans, and non-fight fans as well.

Rogan has one of the most exciting tones in the commentary booth and makes every fight a delight to watch. He certainly adds up to the hype of the fight and adds to the tension in every bout he comments over.

Another extraordinary skill Rogan has is his ability to take some of the best post-fight interviews, no matter what the conditions are. However, Rogan recently got trolled on the internet for his pronunciation of the word ‘Nurmagomedov.’

Rogan, in his octagon interview with the undefeated Russian prospect, Umar Nurmagomedov, failed to say his surname correctly at the end of the interview.

This isn’t the first time that the commentator has pronounced the word ‘Nurmagomedov.’ We have heard him say it multiple times during the bouts of Khabib Nurmagomedov, and he pronounced it just fine back then. Looks like Rogan just had a moment of weakness in the interview.

One of the users had a hilarious joke to make on Rogan’s mispronunciation. The user took a creative pun on the word ‘Russian’ and made a witty comment.

Rogan returned to commentary at UFC 272 after a hiatus from commentary. Rogan wasn’t in the commentary booth for UFC 270 and UFC Vegas 49 and UFC Vegas 48.
