Joe Rogan has been involved in controversies in the past, that have led Spotify to remove episodes of the ‘Joe Rogan Experience‘ from their platform. Joe Rogan’s JRE podcast has been exclusively on Spotify since 2020. After penning down a new multi-million-dollar deal with the platform, their partnership continues to flourish. However, a recent act by the $51 billion platform led fans to sound off their frustrations and even rant on Spotify.

As usual, Joe Rogan released a new edition of the ‘Protect Our Parks’ episode, featuring fellow comedians Mark Normand, Shane Gillis, and Ari Shaffir. The episode was released on Spotify as well as YouTube. However, Spotify viewers encountered a problem while trying to view the episode.

After listing the recent JRE episode on their platform, it was removed all of a sudden without any explanation. Joe Rogan even shared a post on Instagram to promote the “Protect Our Park’ episode, where fans chimed in to express their frustrations regarding the removal of the episode from Spotify. Let’s see what they had to say.

Spotify angers fans by removing an episode from a Joe Rogan podcast

The fans mentioned having witnessed the recent ‘Protect Our Park’ episode being listed on Spotify, but later it became unavailable. Furthermore, one mentioned refreshing the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ page over and over again, just to see if the episode was back on the list, but it wasn’t.

Some fans even demanded that Spotify fix the issue since they were not fans of viewing JRE episodes on YouTube. However, one fan claimed that the episode was permanently taken down from the platform.

Meanwhile, some fans mentioned that they could not find the recent JRE episode on Spotify but they found it on Apple Podcasts. On the other hand, one fan claimed that Spotify stopped the episode mid-way while he was tuned in.

On most occasions, there are explanations as to why a JRE episode gets removed from Spotify. However, this time, there seemed to be no reason behind it, and the $51 billion platform re-added ‘Protect Our Parks 11’ later to the list of JRE episodes.
