Did Singer Neil Young Return to Spotify After Joe Rogan Drama?

A while back, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ found itself in some hot soup. Because of the issues surrounding the podcast, reports of many famous personalities deciding to get their own work taken down from the platform were all over. One such person was singer Neil Young.

Therefore, the platform removed Young’s songs. Spotify CEO Daniel Ek had also come forward to speak about the issue and informed that the platform has published its policies. However, soon enough, several reports claimed Young’s songs were back on Spotify. However, ‘Reuters’ conducted a fact check and concluded that his songs have not returned to Spotify.

According to their article published on February 15, a few of Young’s soundtracks and compilation albums are available on Spotify. However, his complete discography is not available on his page. Reuters also claimed to find no further reports of Young returning to the platform.

While Rogan was under a lot of pressure because of the problems his podcast got into, the MMA community stood by him. Several UFC fighters and fans alike tweeted in his support. A few fighters also spoke about him during their interviews. Thus, Rogan received constant support from them.

Besides all this, Rogan was also not present at UFC 271. Many people noticed his absence. UFC President Dana White said that the commentator himself skipped the event. This happened when the controversy was at its boiling point.

While he wasn’t present at UFC 271, Rogan returned to his commentary duties at UFC 272. Spectators expect to see him call fights during the future US-based PPV events as well. UFC 273 is all set to happen on April 9. The event takes place at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, Jacksonville, United States. Therefore, fans expect Rogan to commentate on the fights.

As for his podcast, he is still on Spotify and regularly releases new episodes. However, back in February, several episodes from his podcast got removed.
