“Diego Really Needs to Stop Fighting” – Fans Plead to Ex-UFC Star Diego Sanchez as He’s Left in Pool of Blood After BKFC Debut

Diego Sanchez had an illustrious career in the UFC. He has had a long MMA career across multiple promotions. Diego Sanchez started as a welterweight fighter but went on to fight in the UFC lightweight division. He once had a shot at the UFC lightweight championship against the legend B.J. Penn at UFC 107. The fight remains memorable because it turned into a battle that went on till the 5th round but was ended by a doctor stoppage. Although Penn took the title, ‘Lionheart’ was lauded for his brave performance. Diego Sanchez retired from MMA in 2022 and is now fighting in the BKFC Knucklemania.

Sanchez was fighting Austin Trout at BKFC Knucklemania, Trout held the WBA light heavyweight title from 2011 to 2013. He was up against the 41-year-old at Knucklemania 3 and fans got to see an interesting fight that ended in the fourth round. Doctors stopped the fight after Trout opened up a big cut on Sanchez‘s forehead. ‘The Nightmare’s admirers have now reacted to the fight.

Fans concerned about Diego Sanchez’s injuries

Fans were concerned after images of the fight showed Diego Sanchez bleeding profusely. The fighter is known for his never give up attitude and put it on display when he didn’t stop fighting despite being injured. A user commented,
