Dillon Danis finally made his return to mixed martial arts competition, and he did it in style. It took him just 15 seconds to get a hold of Warren Spencer‘s neck and submit him with a guillotine choke. He then announced himself to the Misfits crowd, and even got his next opponent, former strongman Eddie Hall. The duo faced each other off in the middle of the ring, and they agreed to fight in the near future.

The media was curious to know if that’s what Dillon Danis wanted – a fight against a much bigger opponent, who’s way past superheavyweight. Well, Conor McGregor‘s former teammate claims that Eddie Hall needs to cut down to at least the UFC heavyweight limit, which is around 265 pounds. Given that Danis is a welterweight, according to UFC standards, he believes it is only fair for Hall to agree with what he’s suggesting that he do, even though it’s a tough ask for the former strongman.

“He has to make at least the UFC weight. He can’t even make the UFC heavyweight limit,” Dillon Danis told the media in the post-fight presser“But if he makes it, hell yeah! I’ll do it. 425 lbs is what he wanted to fight at. I’m 170 lbs. So come on. Make at least the UFC limit.”

Eddie Hall and Dillon Danis have a beef going on between them, with the duo trading jibes often on social media. So, they may just get it on in an MMA fight to settle their differences. And guess what? It seems like the fight could end up happening because the former strongman claims that he’s willing to go through a rapid weight-cutting process to fight the former Bellator fighter. Here’s what he had to say.

Eddie Hall is willing to drop 64 lbs to fight Dillon Danis

Eddie Hall has been calling for a fight against Dillon Danis for a while now. He claims to have rung up Misfits Boxing and said, “You’ve got to make this fight happen now.” After their brief face-to-face interaction at the recent boxing event, Hall claimed that he’s open to cutting down an absurd 64 pounds in 12 weeks’ time just to make sure that he can fight the former Bellator fighter because he’s had enough of Danis’s “snide comments.”

“He’s been talking s— for a long time, making snide comments on social media, so I thought I’d put my money where my mouth is. He wanted me to get under 400lb, which I am, so I said I’d get under 300 if he shakes my hand there and then, which he did,” Eddie Hall told Bloody Elbow. “So give me 12 weeks to lose 64lb and I will come in and rock his f—ing chin… Honestly, I just need one good shot on his face and he’ll regret shaking my hand.”

Well, this fight may look like an unbelievable mismatch, but the good news is that Dillon Danis is back to fighting and has an opponent already. Misfits Boxing is keen on making that fight happen, so we’ll have to wait and see if Eddie Hall agrees to the demands put forth by Danis. What do you think?
