Disappointment Ensues as Fans Throw Dirt at Dana White After UFC CEO’s Tesla Cybertruck Giveaway Completely Falls Flat on Its Face

There have been several times when UFC CEO Dana White shared videos on social media to announce future fights. However, this time, his announcement had nothing to do with the UFC. Instead, White shared news regarding motorsport star and stunt performer Travis Pastrana, which led to fans expressing their disappointment with the 56-year-old.

Dana White has a healthy social media presence on several platforms. He often surprises fans with announcements regarding some of the best matchups. But this time was a whole different announcement altogether. Furthermore, White also spoke about a giveaway. Let’s take a look at what he had to say.

Dana White announces a Cybertruck giveaway

The UFC CEO recently shared a video on social media claiming that he’s going to do one of the biggest giveaways ever. In collaboration with Elon Musk, the 56-year-old announced that he will be giving away a hundred-thousand-dollar Tesla Cybertruck. He also mentioned that it is hard to get hold of this truck because when people book to purchase this truck, they have to wait three years to get hold of it.

“I’m giving away a free Tesla Cybertruck. This has to be the biggest giveaway I’ve ever done for two reasons. It’s a hundred-thousand-dollar truck and there’s a three-year waiting list for this thing,” said Dana White. He took the opportunity to thank the Tesla CEO for making this giveaway possible. White added, “Thank you Elon Musk, my brother. I appreciate you doing this for me.”

Meanwhile, the other announcement had nothing to do with the UFC and instead, Dana White announced Travis Pastrana’s Nitrocross event this weekend. Meanwhile, the fans were hoping for some other announcement and were left extremely disappointed by the UFC CEO. Let’s see what they had to say.

Fans left disappointed with White’s recent announcement that had nothing to do with the UFC

The fans, first of all, mentioned that they were waiting for the huge fight announcements. They wanted to know what was on the cards for UFC 300. However, they were left disappointed by Dana White.

Some fans also found it hard to understand how Travis Pastrana’s Nitrocross is a big announcement for Dana White. They only wanted to talk about fights relating to the UFC.

However, some fans are hoping for more announcements soon. One Instagram user noticed that Dana White was wearing the same shirt he wears whenever such videos are posted on social media. This led him to think that he was going to talk about a fight, but that wasn’t the case.

Dana White may want to take the attention away from UFC 296 since it is just a few days away. Moreover, it is also the final pay-per-view of the year, and he would be hoping to end the year on a high, following which he could start discussions about UFC 300.
