Dominick Cruz doesn’t want to think about the future just yet

In a post-fight interview with analyst Megan Olivii, he shared his thoughts about his win and what’s next for him. He clarified that he isn’t going to target anyone. and is more focused on living in the moment.
“I’ll talk to Shelby and you know, you always hear, I don’t have like this guy bam! But, I am gonna think about it, because I want to enjoy my win tonight. You know it’s really important that you enjoy what you create and not move to the future, where there’s absolutely zero peace. So all you upcoming fighters, that’s what media is going to look to do, is push you into the future and out of the present.”
“Right when you win, they’ve got 10 people they want you to fight that are supposed to beat you. When you have the belt, it is the same thing, hey you have the belt, now this guy is going to beat you, this guy is going to beat you. Like, I’m here and that’s the thing about winning the belt and losing the belt twice. You learn to be present. So I am happy to be here on this win and I am gonna enjoy it.”
